The 4-Day Mini Course
Your quickstart to becoming a confident and competent photographer
Part #1: Education is key
I remember being so overwhelmed when I first got started in photography ( over 10 years ago). Their was so much to learn about cameras, lenses, composition, lighting, and editing. It was hard to know where to start or what questions to ask.
I spent thousands of hours watching Youtube videos but I still wasn't sure if I was getting reliable information.
Fast forward to now, I've been shooting professionally for over a decade! My work has been featured at The World Trade Center, The Walter's Art Museum, and on the walls of many homes and small businesses across the country.
The key to my success was a solid EDUCATION. A solid education is the key to success in any field, and photography is no exception.
This is why having a good instructor, who resonates with your learning style, is so important. Without the guidance of a professional photographer or instructor, it can be difficult to develop the technical skills and knowledge needed to produce high-quality images. Without someone to provide constructive criticism, it can be hard to identify areas for improvement and to measure progress. This can make it difficult to develop a strong portfolio and to advance in the field.
You don't have to learn on your own.
The two videos below this paragraph will lay the foundation for your education. Understanding these two videos will put you on track to understanding what it takes to create beautiful images in any lighting situation.
Lastly, I would like to introduce you to one of my students named Doug.
Doug reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in teaching him photography 1-on-1.
Since we both live in Baltimore, of course I said yes!
